Dr Tiffany Dowling
Dr Tiffany Jane Dowling graduated with a Bachelor of Dentistry (Hons) and Bachelor of Science (Hons 1), and has been apart of the Dental Health Centres team for the last 3 years.
Having always had an interest in medicine, helping others, and working with her hands, she first became interested in dentistry as a profession when she was working as a scientific researcher for an oral medicine specialist in the field of oral cancer. She believes the switch to this profession was the right decision for her as she now loves dentistry and being able to use amazing technologies to improve the quality of life for patients.
Dr Dowling loves being able to help people, engage within the community and continue her professional development. She finds it fascinating to see teeth from such a unique perspective and be able to help rehabilitate and improve the form and function of a patient’s dentition.
“It is wonderful to see a person smile, talk and eat with confidence again after having their dentition professional cleaned, restored and enhanced.”
Dr Dowling enjoys treating patients of all ages, from children to the elderly, communicating with all in a relaxed and friendly manner. She ensures everyone is comfortable in the dental chair and take extra care for patients with anxiety, special needs or complex medical histories. She is proficient in routine treatment including professional cleanings, restorations and whitening, and has high confidence in performing more complex treatment such as root canal therapy and extractions.
Some professional and personal achievements that Dr Dowling is proud of includes, being a mother of two beautiful young children and maintaining continuing education through the Australian Dental Association Queensland branch, University of Sydney Dentistry Alumni CPD, and Australian Endodontic Society. She has also received commendations in Primary Exams for the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and completed an internship at The Sydney Dental Hospital.
Dr Dowling continues to stay busy outside of business hours caring and playing with her young children. Together they love to read, garden, walk, swim, dance and listen to music.
